Hi all
I need your help -
I need to find some cheapish table cloths to use for the tables in our marquee.
I need 5ft round ones and 6ft rectangle ones, I looked in to hiring them but they are ridiculously expensive.
I just want plain white/ivory ones
I get married in 3weeks so need to get these ASAP really
Thanks

Hi Chicken,
We are hiring ours and they are costing £10 per table, I did look into buying but found they were really expensive and I only have three tables, have you tried a few places that hire or just one, we are hiring from our venue because we are also hiring the round tables but we did look into hiring ourselves and this would only have been £5 for each table and around the same for the table clothes but we would have had to pick them up on the morning of the wedding and I just did not want the stress of that.
The place we were going to hire from is in essex so this would be to far from you but there maybe other place in your area. Of course that would all depend on the amount of tables you have as well, if you were having a big wedding then it obviously would not be very economical. You could try the bed sheet thing and then go for a runner going across the table, have seen this in photos and look really nice and I'm sure you could pick them up cheap. Also Ikea do table clothes but I'm not sure of the sizes I looked in to them when we was going to buy, I actually bought our napkins from there when they had there sale and they worked out really cheap0 -
You could always check out the reduced section in Dunelm, they always have things reduced by heaps in the Wolverhampton store.A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Hi, don't know if this helps but I had the same predicament and my mum found some rolls of fabric on eBay, we paid just over £97 in total and this will make 30 x 90" round tablecloths which will fit 5' tables with plenty of overhang.
So it's worked out just over £3 per tablecloth :T , just requires a bit of time cutting and hemming.
My friend did the same thing, buying bed sheets and a friend just overlocked the edges and they looked brilliant.
The fabric we got is lovely, plain white with a bit of a stripe through it. If you want the seller details just PM me.0 -
I bought ours in poundland, they had round and rectangular ones in cream, ivory, pink, blue and turquoise. And they were only a pound each!
I had to go in over two weeks to get enough tho. With Sparkles! :happylove And Shiny Things!0
