I have 10 tickets for the Harrods CHRISTMAS GROTTO for 16/11/2008 at 17:00pm - both me and my sister had the same idea but we're going to use her tickets as the date is more suitable. These are e-tickets that you print yourself so i don't know if they can be used by 2 or more smaller groups...
  • Hi well I would be happy to take them off your hands

    PM me if still available

    Thanks

Just wanted to say thank you to the OP, as had a great day today. Went to the Lord Mayors Parade and despite the rain had a great view of the parade and great atmosphere there. Went to Harrods and the children loved it, as Mrs Claus, Fairy Godmother and even captain Hook made a big fuss of them and we got lots of photos. Santa was fab, with his great big book in whcih he put the kids names and list of presents. He spent a good 10 minutes chatting to the kids. They got a story book with stickets in it, a Harrods Grotto badge and large chocolate coin. To kill time we went to the Natural History museum for just over an hour and then went for the Lord Mayors fireworks show-it was a really good display again this year. Lovely day out.

Hi I was the Op - glad you had a fab day. I'm not going til 23rd December - but I am sooooooo excited.:j We went early last year, and thought it was excellent, so doubly excited as ds understands a little. (He'll be 21 months)(He pronounces Christmas as doosh doosh, and adores my Coalport FC's - and dd is 5 1/2 so she loves it all!)

Thanks Cathys1, hope that you have a great time. We have been to selfridges a few times and I thought this was better. The staff were so very pleasant and there were only a few people in front of us. We hardly noticed the time, as each time we turned a corner a character came out and chatted to us and gave us all hugs. They made such a fuss of the children. Our friends went too and they had younger children and a teenage lad (who didn't want to be there) and Captain Hook tried to kidnap him and make him a pirate. Santa was really the best I have seen as he was so funny. We went into the toy shop and they had a snow making display, which was fun.

So excited, we're going up with our 3 on Saturday :)

Any ideas how long it'll take to get to Harrods from Waterloo and how much its likely to cost to get a black cab (from Waterloo)?

    TIA
    Slightly worn out mum to 3 (DS1 May 03, DS2 Feb 05, DD1 Feb 08). When i grow up i think i'll become a UN Peace keeper....

    Hear hear!

    Thanks to the OP.....

Harrods have got a good team in the grotto all round.

The Fairy Godmother this afternoon was such a lovely lady (what else would you expect of her anyway!)
