can anyone enlighten me as to how these work, as i think you have to put ice in some and not in others, and has anyone got any recommendations, as this winter i want my dryer indoors not in the garage, thanks in advance for any info.

Consensus seemed to be that they weren't that good which is a shame because I have had to move my tumble drier away fromthe wall and now have to have the vent hose across the floor in the utility room. Have a feeling this is going to be one of those long-term temporary fixes.0 -
I bought one of these last year. It was worse than useless. Had to revert to hanging the vent hose out of the window. I've bought a condensor dryer now which is much better!

I agree with ther person above I bought one last week of ebay and it was useless. Within a few minutes of its first use the room was full of steam. If anyone know of a better way to get rid of the seam other than through the hose/window then please let me know0
