Got date for creditors meeting
After many months spent on here and deliberating over BR or IVA instead of DMP which I'd been on with Payplan and would take 23 years to pay back....thats if creditors actually all stopped adding interest which some of them still are.....I actually owe more now than when I started DMP in Feb.,!!.....ANYWAY....decided to go to CCCS for advice and they recommended BR or IVA ane recommended IVA.....have now finally got date for creditors meeting on 8th September...at least then I'll know wether IVA has been accepted...if not it will be BR.

Hi Skibadee, we are in a similar situation to you that we are with payplan on a debt management and it will take us over 10 years to pay it all back.. and I feel bad about that, so I definately symphathise with you. What made you decide to do the IVA rather than BK? we are going to apply for BK. Good luck with the meeting, I will be interested to see how you get on, fingers crossed for you. and I feel bad about that, so I definately symphathise with you. I don't really know why I opt'd for IVA except it seemed more straight forward at the time.
Owe more on DMP now than what I did to start off with, due to some creditors refusing to stop add interest/ charges.....after discussing options with CCCS..[ they adviced IVA or BR ]....could see DMP was not in my best interest...with it taking 23yrs at least to pay back...I'm 48 now!!
Must say CCCS and CCCSVA have been wonderful, have explained everything etc.,0
