  • Thats up to you, if after BR you have enough wage to cover your living expenses then yes if thats what you want to do.

The OR cant force you to work more just so they can get more out of any IPA you get

    Hi Roger,

I am very new to this, but me and my hubby both have been struggling with 2nd jobs to try and improve our situations, but they have not helped that much, we are getting our fees together to go BK, as soon as we have the money together we are leaving the 2nd jobs because if we are struggling this much now with the hours its not going to work for the long term and we guessed it would make it simpler for the OR in working out how much we have to contribute rather than basing it on the 4 jobs we have then changing it because we cant physically do the hours. We were wondering whether the OR would look badly on us for giving the jobs up though...
Goodluck anyway, the people on here are so helpful and kind, you will prob get more responses soon.

    To both roger & louise

I went bc in nove 07,in feb both myself and hubby left a job that has been killing us both the last few years as we were phisically and mentally knackered. As i had an IPA it meant a re assesment. My IPA got dissolved. I never changed jobs to get out of paying that IPA just to enoy a normal job with normal hours for the last few years before i retired. Nothing has been said whatsoever so to my mind bc has freed me from slavery:p .

Yes i am now unemployed(got laid off from new job) and worse off financially but who cares, when i find work again i will be working to enjoy the benefits of saving first and buying later, not buying now paying later:o D
