mine was a kitten i got scamed on i`m so upset by it all my son keeps sayin will the kitten be here in a bit i`ve tried to explain to him but he can`t take it all in

    hi there

have you not tried putting ads in the local classifieds to see if anyone has kittens going free or extremly cheap as i often see kittens free to good home in my local ads yes some of them may be scams but more often it is people whos cat has fallen pregnant and they just want to know the kittens are going to a good home

you could put something along the lines of
kitten wanted free or maximum £x in local area (so you dont have to pay a scammer for shipping it to you) and just wait and see if you have any offers

or have you got any rescue centres in your area you could go and look round and see if they have any?

hope something comes up soon for you and your son all the best

try a rescue centre you will see some kittens there who need good home
  • i`ve got an ad in the local papper and also on gumtree but as yet not managed to get 1 i would trya rescue centre but they are all a fair distace from were i live and i don`t drive hopefully i`ll get 1 soon. i really feel for anyone else who gets conned like this when we refused to pay anymore money they got really nasty saying they were going to report us to the rspca for abandoning them and they also said they knew were we lived etc. but the most shocking thing is that gumtree have been told about these scamers yet they still alow them to advertise.
