Wow - it's an old thread from me that I totally forgot about!
My experience in the end was that I managed to get them to put it all in writing before we paid them a penny, so that we were covered. We're going to complete on our remortgage next month, all the paperwork is in and ready to go.
I think it's so important to get these things in writing, if it's something they're verbally offering you - and the FSA agreed with me!0 -
mine went through without a hitch.
and boy am i benefitting.
