London and Country

Has anyone had any dealings with this company ,London and Country as they have offered me a mortgage although i have a bad credit rating ie 2 ccjs they seem quite professional so far chatting to them on the phone.

    Hopefuly they aren't recommending First National (also operate as I Group and GE Money) as thier rates are very high.

    A decent broker would fist try Accord, C & G and other high street options which are a lot cheaper.

    L & C employ a lot of inexperienced brokers so I would tread with care.

    Use a broker , do not use L&C, look at the other posts, one post recently claimed that they had not recieved a KFI ( Quote) from L&C .

    I'm sure there are plenty of local, face to face brokers who have made similar mistakes to those highlighted in this thread and charged a fee for their work.
