Please tell me how you managed it. After e-mailing every day for a fortnight and luckily getting replies I only received £27.98 out of almost £100.

I put together a dossier of all the bad press and negative feedback I found on the web, and sent this to Bank of Scotland VISA stressing their ‘bait and switch’ business practice, i.e. No strings, no commitments, cancel anytime, then switching you to a subscription on signing up.

They must have been convinced as they refunded my money. Beware emusic I heard that they often re-subscribe cancelled accounts without prompting or authorisation. I changed from a visa to a MasterCard so ensure that they could never get my new details.
