Had a letter today dated 30th july:eek: ,3 wks ago from the IS. Saying the trustee is applying to the secretary of state for trade and industry for his release as trustee. He has enclosed a summery of his receipts and payments for my information. If i am not already discharged, his release will not affect upon the date of my discharge.
Now whats all that about
. Have searched but could not find the appropriate info. D

Morning D..
Didn't you stop paying an IPA?
Maybe it just means that all the funds from your bankruptcy have been distributed and there's nothing else for them to do, so they want to get rid of your case?
:hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0 -

If the OR is also the trustee then it is a step that they can take to legally 'release' themselves from that position once all the main administration your case/assets is done.
There is some waffle here HERE that is painful to read, but it is basically saying "case closed".
It is not the same as ED, although it sometimes comes a little before it.
My OR sent me one of these letters long long before I even had the first ED forms through, so I wouldn't read too much into it on that score.
Some offices seem to send these letters out, while others don't. Mine seems to.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Actually its was ok once i stopped looking/reading his/her at every 2 word interval;) .
So far my timetable is
nov 07 -bc
jan 08-transferred to trustee
april 08- IPOQ(1st one:mad: )
July 08- IPOQ again
Aug 08 - trustee release.
Looking at that link the creditors have 21 days to contest the trustee release,so wondering if thats why i have only just had the letter as it is 21 days today.DFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau
