Advice On Joining Quidco Please

i keep seeing people on the forum mention Quidco so thought I would check out the webiste and consider joining. Im still a little confused so wondered if any users could confirm how it works:

It seems there is a 50% deal with Ebay when winning an auction. It mentions 50% of the Ebay revenue from Sale.Does this mean if I win an item I will receive half of all fees Ebay make from that sale?

Also it mentions an annual membership fee of £5 and also states they withhold the first £5.Is this in addition to the membership fee or is this there way of getting the fee.If the latter does this mean that if you dont earn £5 then you ownt pay the fee???

Sorry but all a bit confusing.

Finally if i wanted to earn money on Quidco via EBay does that mean everytime i think I may bid on something I would need to visit Ebay via the Quidco site. Also what if I topped my bid up and forgot to go through Quidco would I still qualify????

Sorry to be so naive but have wanted to join for ages but all seemed a little complicated

Thank you for any advice

You pay £5 a year, but you only pay it if you make £5.

Sorry but all a bit confusing.

Yes...and I'm not sure about the topping up, but I wouldn't chance it.

Answers in red above. It really isn't that complicated. The worst thing that can happen is it may not track and you may not get cashback. But if you weren't getting anything before, then what's to lose?
  • I have made £680 from quidco in the last 18 months or so. Ive only ever had one thing not track. Go for it, its simple and you really have got absolutely nothing to lose. Their enquiries system is good too and always improving.

  • :T yeap I agree - very easy to use - just remember everytime you want to look for something to link thro Quidco or Greasy Palm - they use different providers so best to look at both for deals. Also register other half using a Yahoo email account (as you cant use the same email address twice) that way depending on what the rebate is you can potentially get it twice. I did this for credit check report for both of us. so for a little bit of effort and time I earned money for printing off my credit report for nothing. I have made alot of dosh out of Quidco for insurance and even pet food

Please check out the threads on this forum http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=42 for help with other cashback sites you may wish to join, as some people can get a referrers fee for indroducing you, then you add you name to the list for others to use your link :)

Oh, and always use Martins cashback checker http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/cashback-sites-comparison/
to check you're getting the best cashback deal about :)
