Remortgage and Pay off credit cards

Hi all

I have a dilemma and need advice. I have the possibility of getting a 4.9% mortgage deal but need to pay off my £3,500 credit card debt which is currently residing on interest free cards. The only way I can do this is to add the £3,500 to my mortgage.

Even when I do this my monthly payments are way lower than on the next best deal of 5.65%. I appreciate that in effect I am moving the £3,500 from interest free to 4.9% but I do get the lower monthly payments...

What do people think?

Many thanks in advance!

Jim

    Sounds silly to me.

But its all about what you can afford. Youve not really given a great deal of information

Personally id keep the zero percent credit cards when one deal is nearly done apply for a new one with another company.

Look up rate tarting, offset mortgages and stoozing!
