Hi All,

Just wanted to say thank you all so much for the help and advice. I really feel like i am getting some control back. Taking small baby steps but it's making a huge impact. My low days are less and less now.

I just sold some stuff on ebay for the first time. Made £50 for stuff I'd have thrown out. Ebay is brilliant, thanks for suggesting it. Looking for local car boot sales now!!!

Also, the spending diary thing is certainly an eye opener.....I actually feel excited now when I've had a no spend day! Ha Ha.......I'm a changed woman!

Thanks for the advice tealady. I have been on the website and downloaded a load of stuff re: getting a lodger. Going to advertise the room soon! Also, did the snowballer thing which shows light at the end of the tunnel. Very long tunnel but there is light!

Your friends might not have a house though, that might be how they afford holidays.

The lodger has no rights, it is all in your favour.
