Now the weather has gone poo I cannot work outside so I have time to give an update of what happened next :- phoned Scottish Mutual the next day and was told there was a terminal bonus but that was already included in the Quote.
In the early nineteen seventys the firm I was working for started a pension scheme where the employee paid in X and the firm matched the amount. Well I only stayed with them Six months and I paid in about £75.00. When I retire at this moment in time it will pay me £511.00 a year. A big difference from S Ms pension where I have paid over £6000.00 and they are offering
£574.00 a year.
The latest news is I got an address of an I F A local to me from Unbiased I went to see him yesterday, along with my other Annuity offer and he has given me a qoute exceeding the original qoutes but only by about £200.00 a year. Every little helps.0 -
