Leather sofas....has anyone heard of

Sofa king? Their prices look very good but want to check and see if anyone else has heard of them and its not too good to be true

https://www.thesofaking.co.uk havent that much to spend but want a leather this time it may last for more than 2 years then LOL

Land of leather have a few good deals on but not when you add delivery £49.00  onto the top.

Any other places I should go and have a look at?

You could have a look at Harveys. They have sale items in leather, and I believe they also do interest free credit.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.
  • Thanx both! I diddnt know woolys sold sofas tho.

    Any other ideas??

    Thanx Sarah x

We have had quite a few sofas both fabric and leather from SofaSofa and been very happy with them.

As I've mentioned previously, leather is EXCELLENT as a covering for cows, to keep their insides in & the outside out.

Why people 'think' they're getting anything more than the lowest grade of dead animal skin, for sitting on, is beyond me!!

It'll have been stretched to the max, treatedn dyed to look 'good', but it certainly ain't wot leather once was!!

Check out some of the fabric coverings instead!!

I think the company you refer to are a little shop in Northampton Gold street.(They were in trouble with the name when they first opened - advertised as 'sofaking cheap'
or something, which some people thought was a bit rude!).
I have been in there, and they seem to do end-of-line items. They had some ex-argos stock at the time, and most of it seems to be good prices but not brilliant quality.May have better stuff from time to time ,I don't know.
I didn't know they were online as well.

Hi i got my leather sofa from there last year, and my leather sofa is from House of frazer and its a sofa bed and i got a foot stool, all for £450.00. Should have cost about £1000.00 brand new.

I was told, when i got mine, that they sell sofa's from different stores, mainly argos that have been returned to the distrubution/warehouse within the 2 week (approx) period, because the sofa has been too big to go through their door, into the house or some silly reason like that. Mine looked brand new.

Stock changes every day, and i used to go in there a few times a week. Worth having a look.
Long way to go from Birmingham though isnt it ?

Hmm - you mean one that was on sale for one minute at the Orkney Central branch for £2000... :D
Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.
