Irish passport photobooth in/around Belfast

Hi,

I've just learned that my passport application is on it's way back to me because my photos were too dark (despite getting them done at a booth which stated that they were of passport spec and using Royal Mails check and send :mad:) so I was wondering if anyone knows of any booths around Belfast that are definately ok for an Irish passport?

I go on holiday in one week and have to get the application and photos back down to Dublin, and then go back a different day to collect it, all before next Tues .

Thanks in advance !

BTW I haven't left it to now just for fun , I needed my old passport as I was away until the end of July, so I posted the application as soon as I got back home.

like country girl said, get them done in a chemist. Why do you have to go to Dublin to get an Irish passport, can you not get them in Belfast?

They sent mine back too and I got them from Jessops!
There's a booth in the Odyssey and one in yorkgate..they give you several attempts. Avoid the one at Belfast Interntional..it's rubbish.

If you're in a hurry, would you consider getting a British passport using the same-day service in Belfast?

    Thanks all,

I spoke to someone in the office and they said if I get my old passport back today and immediately send it back with new photos they would get my new passport to me before I go, but I don't want to take the risk of the new photos being wrong too. I've decided that to be on the safe side I'll just wait until I get to Dublin and get my photos done there, right beside the office (the new ones don't have to be signed apparently). Now I just have to wait for my old passport to be delivered back to me

I did think about the British one but I've never had a British passport and it seems that you can't use the fast track service unless you have had a British passport before so that's a non starter.

Pretani, you can get the forms etc here but the only offices are in Dublin and Cork, not much use of you live anywhere else but sure  I'm just glad I don't have to travel from Donegal!
