Most 'big' tours sell out straight away these days due to the huge number of amateur ebay touts knocking about, who buy as many tickets as they can in order to sell on. You just have to wait until ebay is 'flooded' with tickets in a few weeks time, then is when the bargains are potentially to be had.
I agree with you on this. There are also a few gaps in the tour schedule, lots of bands are doing this these days and adding extra shows once the first sell out.
I agree with the demand issue also. In Aberdeen (where I am), the exhibition centre can hold 8,500 standing. Given that the local population is about 200k, and there are two dates, you are looking at almost 10% of the population going. I can't see that many people going.0 -
Has anyone managed to get any tickets yet, having problems with Shffield Arena website not loading and telephone constantly engaged! ArghIf this has helped you please don't forget to click Thanks, thankyou.0

No, no luck here either.
But don't worry as this is a 14 month world tour, there will be UK stadium tours next summer, and more dates will be released for arenas.
It is standard practice these days for bands to wait until current dates sell out and then release more around the same time.
Good luck, keep trying, or wait until a week before the gig and buy off eBay, the amateur ticket touts will be cacking themselves wondering if they will sell their tickets, theat had hoped to cash in on when first released.Financial Aims for 2012:
