Harrassment from EOS Solutions

A bit of advice please, if anyone can provide it.

For about 10 days on the trot 6 months ago, the same 3 months ago, and everyday for the past fortnight, I have been plagued with unwanted calls from a debt collection company, I have gleaned from them to be, EOS Solutions.

They appear to have gotten hold of my mobile number, which I received about 10 months ago when I took a new contract phone. They tell me that they wish to speak to a female, whom I have nver heard of, and when I tell them this, they ask for my personal details.

I have told them that I do not know this female, and that I will not give them my details as it is not their business, and I do not have debt, and so am not "wanted" by anyone!

Is there anywhere I can report them to as they are making my daily life a misery, going through the same rigmarole.

If they were coming to my door and asking these things, I would be calling the police. Why should this behaviour be acceptable to these vultures, simply because it is over the phone?

Help anyone...........................

    Hi

    Start with the Information Commisioner.

The Information Commissioners Office, Complaints page: http://www.ico.gov.uk/complaints.aspx
(note: I chose to complete and download the .pdf form on Data Protection, which I am also sending to the other offices, with an accompanying letter)

Ideally you would have writen to EOS first but since you have told them to take your details off their system, they are already breaking the DPA.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing
