Would Like Discount for Ripley's Believe it Or Not Museum, London

It has just opened in Trocadero in London's Picadilly so am hoping there might be some sort of promotional voucher/discount available.

Eye wateringly expensive otherwise (London prices are so unfair!)

    Sorry can't help with a discount ...

but just wanted to say if it's half as good as the one I visited in Texas should be a great day out:rotfl:
  • I found this voucher too, but from a bit more digging around I think have to be a member of smartsave, which has an annual fee, in order to obtain the discount.

Does anyone know if this is true, or know of any other discounts as I want to go here too!
  • This is what the email says when you receive it "
To obtain a 20% discount at a range of the UK's top attractions and some of London's most popular restaurants,
simply click on this link https://www.discountbritain.net/index.php, print the page and take it with you, No Pre-Pay. No registration, No restrictions."
  • If your travelling by train to London then days out gives you a 2 4 1 if you show your train tickets and download the voucher beforehand:

If you're not travelling to/from London by train, your best bet is to buy a cheap rail ticket on the day you wish to visit Ripleys, even if you have no intention of making a journey!

I'm not sure where you are staying in London, but the nearest rail station to Ripleys is Charing Cross (10 mins walk at most). If you buy a ticket from London Bridge to Charing Cross, say (or vice versa) it will cost you £2. This ticket, presented together at Ripleys with the completed form (see link on post above) will entitle you to 2 for the price of 1 entry - a big saving. There are lots of other £2 fares in the London area e.g. Vauxhall to Waterloo or vice versa. The rules state that officially both parties need to be in posession of valid rail tickets, but I've visited many of the venues and never been asked to see both, some don't even ask to see one lol!

Let us know how you get on and what you think of it there.

I went to Ripleys at the weekend and used the National Rail 2 for 1. You do have to present a national rail ticket and were refused entry. Hubby nipped to the tube station outside and picked up a couple of discarded ones and this worked a treat! Well worth £40 for 4 but I wouldn't have spent the full £80.
