visit OS board for cooking ideas and meal plaiing as well as loads of other stuff i saved so much just doing these things that i thought huh ill keep the sky for now as oh loves it !!! also have you thought about getting a clothes airer? i used to run the TD all the time but got 2 cloted airers from netto for £6 each and my leccy bill has almost halved (i dont have a washing line outside) or maybe if you could just use it for essentials .... we have made the saper bedroom the drying room for now as it has the airers in and it works a treat for us.

Finally you can save so much money depending on how far you want to go with it decide what is the max you can cut then the min extra you need and swap things around keep somethings if you like but remember everywhere you keep something you need to cut else where !!!! good luck!!!

Thanks again for lots of suggestions.

We have considered getting rid of one of the cars but hoping to only have to do that as a last resort. We would definately be worse of if I didnt work so not really an option but I am looking at trying to find something closer to me so that I wouldnt have to pay so much in travel costs.

Think i will need to look at reducing costs of presents. Trying to buy things that are good deals so it looks like more.

Weight watchers dont let you attend fortnightly unfortunately or i would, if you miss a week you still have to pay, i pay monthly by direct debit which is cheapest way of doing it.

Never thought about turning individual radiators down, will def do that. thanks. I have a clothes airer which i use as much as possible or try to hang clothes out on the line.

    Thanks again everyone
