Hi all, Not posted for quite a while,
Went bankcrupt march 2008, big relief:j Now have been issued with a possession order, it states the defendent gives the claiment(NR) possession of property on or before 09/09/2008.
My question is, is that the date i have to leave the property? what is the next step?
I have been to see my local council for re-housing but seems to be a case of B&B, i have another appointment next tues to go through forms etc.
Thought about private rental but with being bankcrupt not so easy.
Any advise?
Thanks

Yeah i found the council just did not want to know and told me that just because i was bankrupt that would not help so i wish you better luck than i had. Basically you can rent but it can be a pain. Some agents wont some want 6 months rent up front but i think its best if you can get a guarantor to be honest.
Best of luck:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:

You could take a look at the shelter website, they deal with housing issues.

Hi,
If you dont leave by that date then they will have to apply to the court for a warrant of eviction. Lenders vary a great deal in how long they take to do this. It could be quick or in some cases can be many months. You will be notified of the eviction date in advance of the eviction.
