Bailiff (Equita) letter for previous owner

I keep receiving letters from Equita Certificated Bailiffs for the previous owner of my house regarding an outstanding 'unpaid penalty charge' due to a London Borough. This is in connection with an outstanding parking fine. They keep saying they're going to turn up to take her car away but, to date, haven't. I received another such one this morning. I can only assume she hasn't changed her address at the DVLA.

My question is, if I ring Equita, will they believe me when I say she no longer lives here? I don't have a forwarding address to give them. I'm not bothered if they turn up at the door as I can provide any bill to show that we now live here but is there anything I can do to get them chasing in the right direction?! I'm not keen to start sending copies of my bills as proof to third parties...
It's wouldn't have not wouldn't of, shouldn't have not shouldn't of and couldn't have not couldn't of. Geddit?

Mark the letters to the pervious owner, gone away, return to sender and post them back.

Why are you opening someone elses post anyway?

I live in rented accommodation, have only been here 4 months I get numerous letters for previous tennants, having had bad credit myself I know what the letters are just by looking at them. Have had bailiffs turn up, show them my tenancy agreement and ID to prove it isn't whoever they want.
Is really not something to worry about honey.
