The site is packed with games and resources generated by the UK's museum, gallery and heritage sector.
24 Hour Museum is the award-winning gateway to the UK's museums, galleries and heritage sites. It's full of useful info - from opening times and collection details to daily news articles and educational resources.

Show Me is such a good site - they do news stories each week, and there are 'make and do' features, different 'topic' sections ie. Tudors, Victorians, Dinosaurs, Art & Design etc. They ask kids to send in letters, stories and drawings etc too.
I have to confess an interest - I used to work with them - but they are a charity, (partly government-funded) and it's a small team (led by a former teacher) building the site up out of enthusiasm for the work of the UK's museums, libraries and galleries!
