Please help with CCA letter received

hi there,
Last week I wrote off to a dca requesting a copy of the CCA for a littlewoods catalogue debt.
Today I've received a letter back, returning my £1 postal order, stating that they have returned the account to their client (phoenix recoveries). It also tells me to contact them directly.
I'm not sure what to make of this, what would you advise me to do?
Thanks for reading x

Hello aligerdie
ohhhh, im still getting my head around all this myself, but im sure others will come along more experienced but i think it means that they cannot get you a copy of the cca and have returned the debt back to phonix, not sure if now you should write to phonix, or your original creditor ie littlewoods,
ive seen a thing on youtube today talking about debt collection agency so will go and get the thread so you can listen to the full audio, it will help you and others, and me too! i just had to go out earlier when i seen it, so will soon be back okay

Thanks for your reply!
Its taking me a while to pluck up the courage to send off my CCA requests, I'm scared that they'll not be as lenient with my payment plan requests if they do stump up the agreement.
I am still unsure on all the dates and deadlines and which letters to send, so hopefully will be able to get my head round it soon!
