I can go for months without buying clothes, and when I do it never tops £100 in a single spree, so any monthly estimate would be a wild guess. Ditto with birthday and xmas spending, if I threw in a best guess it probably wouldn't represent my true spending.

All you can do is you best guess though honey isn't it? Or add up what you can remember from the last 3 months and divide by 3.

My hubby buys a suit, 3 shirts, a pair of jeans 2 pairs of shoes, either one pair of trainers or one pair of football boots and 2 "good" t shirts a year regular as clockwork so he's easy to work out - but my daughter has been various different sizes this past 18 months and I seem to be constantly buying things for her.

I've been keeping a track of it since I've been a DFW though so next years budget will be more accurate.
