When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Today I will:
Wet and freezing here today:mad: Got the police coming to work to talk to oldies about crime prevention, should keep them occupied for a while. nother paperwork day lined up for me:rolleyes:
Have a good day everyone, hope the weather is nicer where you are.:D

Well, after my awful day yesterday am feeling a little battered and bruised, but it can only get better! Found out that the pub mystery shop i had done yesterday, the member of staff had given me the wrong receipt, despite her checking it before she gave me it! Would rather curl up today and shut the world out, but instead have been up since 6.40!!
Todays things:
-Am currently doing daily clicks
-Have checked internet banking
-Have moved some money around
-Have picked up two more mystery shops
-Have sorted out the details for one mystery shop for today
-Will do mystery shop in a little while
-Will walk into town, saving on bus fare
-Use rail card to get cheaper travel
-On a course all day today, but will eventually get paid for it
-After course, will then go to my mini job
-If i have time go to the library and type up report, if not, type up report when i get home
-Fill in counselling journal
-Have started an online mystery shop and will work on it later
-Will sort out mystery shops for tomorrow
-Look for mystery shops later
-Do some slice the pie
-Work on website, is really coming along now, although am surprised at how long it takes to do!
-Go on other website for business advice
-Have uploaded shop and scanner
-Checked freecylce for free microwave and other free bits
-Forgot this one, but have entered all comps finishing today!!
Hope everyone has a great day and the sun shines at some point today!!:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Oh Andan how pants!
I don't know about your company, but mine are particularly inflexible about time/reports/receipts.
When I've had the wrong receipt - no payment was forthcoming.
When their map was wrong, I got minus 2 points for being unable to do it
When my picture was too large to upload and I had to make a special trip to take it again, and then the pic was too dark, another trip. They deducted 2 points for not completing within 48 hrs.
It all seems one way  (Though they still haven't responded to me asking *what* the points mean :rotfl: )
Anyway, Morning All, thanks Sophiesmum
Today I have/will- made a packed lunch, and supper is organised
- walk to work
- write to Vet, as I didn't do yesterday
- Piggy clicks & on-line banking as we approach payday and I've still not gone into overdraft :j (well not on expensive o'draft account, the other one is still £600
)
- list some more on e-bay (didn't do any yesterday
)
