Debt Help - New to site

If I take of all the things you have suggested it works out about 6 years to pay my debts, do you not think this is a long time to have this over my head, I no it is my own fault for getting into this situation but is there no quicker way

Extra jobs, go for a promotion get more money. When the car is paid off sell it and throw as much at your debt as you can. Any extra money you get goes to paying off the debt.

Just don't aim to do what we said, beat it.

Getting out of debt does take longer than getting into it normally. There are no quick fixes, it will be hard work.

Try to think of 6 years as a worst case scenario, and also remember that your debt will steadily decrease over that time, so towards the end it won't feel so heavy. Also, you may find your income increases, e.g. if you get a promotion or a higher paid job. Do you get any bonuses?

There are lots of money making schemes on this site, and you could try selling some things on eBay or at a car boot, etc. Little by little, you will be able to whittle down your debts until they are a lot less scary, and just being in control will make you feel a lot better:D

Take it one step at a time - it's not a prison sentence, and it will get better, just keep positive and keep posting, the support on this forum is amazing!:j
