I did go out in the end last night, and spent around £23 - which included something to eat. That is quite impressive for me, took it nice and steady (we started at around six too!).Personal ISA Contributions Challenge - current £0 (as at 1 April 2014) / target £15,000 (deadline 31 Mar 2015)0 -

Yesterday: £35 on a week and a bit's food shopping - I found an excellent stall on the market that sells damaged boxes and short date food for next to nothing, next to the butcher that has a different bulk-buy offer on every week
£8 on a new fishtank (goldfish are cheap - tanks are not)
and £7 on a trip to the fireworks display.
Today it was another £12 on food, but that was to make some home-made cakes and bread to freeze off.0 -

This morning I spent £2.86 at Boots for my lunch, I was tempted to buy something else for 85p but then I realised that i could do without. If I go college this evening I may end up spending another £1.50 so that'll be £4.36 in total (a bit too much on food each day me thinks!!)
