Hi all.
I have discovered that i have a CCJ on my credit file. I found out it was for familly tax credits. I used to have a joint account with my ex girlfriend who I have a son with. my name was taken off the account in late 2004. I have never applied for familly tax ( i'm assuming my ex has) I also have never received any correspondance asking for any money. The first I heard of this was when i checked my credit file. the CCJ was issued in july 2007. I asked the court for the case file, which I have and only has my ex's name on it. Its for £1500. Is there anything I can do about it.
Please could anyone advise me.
Thanks, kierze
