Using Up Fatty Steak Bits

Hi Oldstylers

I just had some yummy steak for tea but had to cut half of it away as it was very fatty in bits (and I hate fatty meat :( ).

It seems a bit of a waste to throw it in the bin but I'm really not going to eat it in its current form and I dont have any pets that would appreciate it.

I was wondering if it would make a half decent gravy that I could then freeze? I have potatoes, leeks, onions, oxo, red wine amongst a load of other things in the cupboard - they all seem vaguely stocky . Does anyone have any suggestions?

Otherwise, put it out for the birds.

thanks for the reply. I was thinking that if I tried to boil it up all the meat that is still there might magically dissolve into something I could eat  sorry to be a dunce :rotfl:
