There is a great new TV show starting on BBC FOUR this week called 'Fossil Detectives' - they go to a different part of the country every week and , well, look for Fossils.

The OU have produced a brilliant, water-proof, fossil guide to go along with the show and to help you identify fossils that you and the kids find.

To get it go here or call 0870 010 0878.

Thank you. :) I like OU freebies - they're always good-quality. Once you've filled in your details, you have the option of either downloading and printing the material, or having it posted out to you.

Thanks v. much - the O.U. literature is v. informative and nicely produced - have sometimes missed their stuff so thanks for the post.

As others have mentioned they are v. good for families/children with interests and projects.

    Thanks.
  • This sounds like good fun- what I know about fossils would go on the back of a postage stamp, so welcome the opportunity to learn more, thanks!
