Hi
my hubby and I are in court tomorrow morning for a redetermination and possible charging order. My hubby has to go their straight from work and I don't know what is best to wear. Should he wear shirt/trousers etc.
I really don't know as never stepped inside a court at all and really don't know what to expect.
please advise......

....Solicitors have advised me to dress neatly and tidily for who you are when going to court (I'm former teacher - most definitely not Katherine Garrett-Cox lol - and have appeared in small claims court & in family court) and NOT to power-dress/over-dress....
So I wore nice skirt, blouse and jumper, with trench-coat style mac, flat shoes, minimal make-up, etc..
Hope this gives you some ideas.Still waiting for Dyson to bring out a ride-on hoover...Memberships:

wear standard 'office' type clothing. Nothing too flash, but just generally smart and tidy. I've attended a couple of bank charges hearings in the past and this kind of outfit is fine.

Yep, I've worn smart trousers with a blouse - the sort of thing I wear to work. I'm tall so tend to wear flat shoes so I don't seem too intimidating! Definitely wear something "middle of the road".Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free

Sorry, just reminds me of a joke I had but I can't find or remember the joke... all I can remember is Angus McCoatup as the punchline! Well, I thought it was funny at the time...pity my brain cell won't kick into action and remember the rest of it!
