What's the cheapest digital camera I can get away with?

Hello there.

I'm looking for a camera to take photos for ebay. I'm not into photography, so just want something as cheap as possible to get the job done.

Obviously I want the pics to look appealing though, so I want something that's capable of ok results for a set up shot.

Can anyone advise me whether the dirt cheap ones would be okay...and where they're on sale...?

Tesco's have a camera 3million mega pixels for £39.97, it's in with the christmas gifts. Not sure of the name or quality but it's cheap!

A few years ago 3 million would be top of the range too. Mine is a 3 million pixel and I can't see why anyone would need a better quality than that.
