Anyone used this site?

Just wondering if anyone has ever bought anything from this cookshop? I'm looking to make quite a large online purchase and although I'm sure the site is great, I'm always looking for a recommendation just in case!

I hope this is the right place to ask?

I've never used them myself, but a little web-detectiveness says they've been going since 2006, they are owned by wheesh.com. They're are all up to date at companies house, so they are legit!

Customer service reports seem to be a little hit and miss - complaints about waiting on the phone, and not receiving free gifts - there are some complaints but then again there always are.

    Sorry that's not more help.
  • Now that this has fallen from the front page of Old Style, I'll move it to the Shop Don't Drop Board, to see if anyone there has used this supplier ;)

with a new site make sure you pay by credit card so you are protected and perhaps call your bank to check if they have anything listed against a company you are unsure about before placing the order. maybe we should have a board where we alert each other to companies we have had problems with?

Hmm, thanks red, that's given me food for thought. I don't use credit cards and I hadn't thought of that. I think your idea of a board like that is a very good one.
