thanks. I still think ST would be better off just letting people put fat into the system around here .....it might help plug a few leaks:rotfl:0

Maybe I'm just being dense, but is this just a thing you put the fat from your frying pan or whatever into? And if it is just something that you do that with, what's wrong with a dish from the cupboard?
Am I missing something here?0 -

There's nothing wrong with a dish from the cupboard; up until now I've used a sandwich bag which I place inside a jug, then pour in cooled oil/fat and tie up before putting in the bin.

Received my fat trap this morning. The design is a pop-up cardboard box with a plastic film type lining - once full it has to be thrown away.
It will do the job in sealing away fat - but I wouldn't purchase any more, as it isn't very money saving - my plastic bag idea is far more budget friendly!
Nice freebie though - thanks for posting :TI'm a nutter :j0 -
I agree with you skintandsafe, I laughed when I opened mine and saw what i actualy was. On the instructions of how to use and dispose it does say when you have thrown it away you can use a marg tub or a tin lol. After the wait I had for mine I think I'll carry on as before and use a plastic bag or marg tub. There's no place like home

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0
