Are you already on a DMP that the other three have agreed to?

As DMPs are a 'voluntary' agreement, there is no way that you can 'force' the fourth creditor to enter into, or accept, your dmp proposals, but you do need to be both persistent and patient, and, in most cases, they will, eventually, come around.

Is your DMP being managed by one of the Debt Counselling Charities?

If not, I strongly reccomend that you chat with either:

    National Debtline 0808 808 4000 www.nationaldebtline.co.uk

    CCCS 0800 138 1111 www.cccs.co.uk

    or your local CAB

The dreaded 'managed loan', richard   . To be honest it will be best to wait till you talk with CCCS on Thursday - I doubt that the 'phone calls' will start before Thursday.
And if they do, jut tell the Bank that you are aware that there could be a problem, and have made an appointment with CCCS on Thursday to seek their advice - the Banking Code allows for dealing with Debt Counselling Charities.

I've been on a DMP with CCCS for over a year. Best financial move I ever made :o They have been great.

With the token payments all I got was phone calls saying you've missed payment can we have it? Just reply and say no, I'm arranging a DMP with CCCS and will contact you with more details when it is set up. Bye. ;)

They can't take what you don't have :D

Well done for talking with CCCS - and there really is no need to worry about the £1 token payments - CCCS know what they are doing and won't suggest anything that is going to get you into trouble.
You've just made the first step towards 'debt freedom'.
    Well done again.
