Itchy jumpers

Bought a couple of lovely jumpers from Primark but they're a bit itchy. I knew that when I tried them on but now not sure if I can cope with it Is there anything I can do to make them less itchy please.

I don't know but I'm hoping someone can come up with an answer as DS is refusing to wear his school jumper because of the same reason.

Have you washed them yet? It might help, but obviously not if you want to take them back. Try some fabric conditioner for sensitive skin in the final rinse.

Are you allergic to lanolin in wool? I am and never wear wool next to my skin. Sometimes I can get away with a teeshirt underneath, although it doesn't make a total barrier.

Sometimes it the wool and there is nothing you can do. I have one and I just have to wear a t-shirt underneath or it drives me barmy.

Try soaking in fabric softener for a while after handwashing.

Try putting it in a bag in the freezer for a few hours before you wear it. Works for me!
