Quidco themselves explain it all in very good detail HERE.

Rather then taking a 'quick look' at the site, take a longer look, understand it and then come back and ask Q's if you're still not sure about something.

In simple terms, when purchasing something on line you route via the quidco site and will get paid the advised commision back from Quidco a few months later minus the annual £5 admin charge.

Dont ever assume you will get paid by Quidco, dont ever buy anything through Quidco in the certain knowledge you will get paid. It is a fact that you may well not get paid and may wait many many months sending correspondence backwards and forwards and never receive anything.

So just look on any payment you get as a complete suprise and never base a decision to purchase on any promise of cashback, as there is no promise.

I think Happychappys' comments are rather the extreme and perhaps a little negative, though you should be aware that :-

There are no guarantees, but if you follow the advice given on site and here on MSE you'll find it does work quite well. A small proportion of purchases DO NOT track for various reasons, but there is a system in place for trying to resolve any problems encountered when this occurs and more often than not they are resolved without problems. Occasionally a very small minority cannot be resolved.

You'll find hundreds, if not thousands of people here who've had a fery significant return from using Quidco, even into the thousands of pounds !

Based on probability you will get your commision, but just bear in mind it's not guaranteed.

Use Quidcon are your own risk. As mentioned don't assume you will get cashback paid back to you.

I have raised a ticket twice regarding Betfair, going back to March this year, both times Quidcon have rejected it :

It isn't hard for Quidco to sort my problem and pay me::rolleyes:
They have the tracking details from their own site ...
They have my Betfair user details...
They have a copy of the welcome to Betfair email from Betfair...
They also have all the details showing the Paypal payment....
I have also offered them a copy of an email from Betfair ( before I opened the account ) which was an enquiry asking if it was fine to fund Betfair, using Paypal - guess what, they replied saying it was alright to do so...

So why have I not been paid ????
Nothing fraudulant, nothing untoward, all the details were provided  ...

I have raised this time and again, funny how Quidco duck replying to me  !!!

I have used Quidco for a couple of years, but haven't done for the last 4 months, instead I use CashBackKings and have referred several people there instead.

I think Quidco is great I have earned and been paid about £250 in the last 5months. The one thing to do is if you have been to a site which you are looking to buy something from through a referral site like moneysupermarket, hotukdeals, kelkoo, pricerunner etc then clear your cookies.

Sites which have tracked and paid out for me are:
    Privilege
    Play
    Comet
    Ebookeers
    YesCar

My reply is based purely on the experience I have had with Quidco, I currently have four unpaid purchases, all large value, two insurances, one LCD TV and a computer. All four purchases tracked.

There are many "negative" comments and threads about Quidco, based on peoples dealings with Quidco.

The blinkered comments of everything is rosey and come purely from those fortunate enough to not yet have had a problem, by all means read these but also do your research as their time will come and then they will see how extremely poor and long winded Quidco are in dealing with them, or not.

There are many other cashback sites, Topcashback is one I have switched to and have not yet had a single problem with.

Thought u not supposed to advertise the fact that u refer people outside of the referrals board, not really fair as lots of us are happy 2 refer people, but we dont say so outside of the referrals board.

Lets not forget, CBK tracking/paying problems are building up after just 6 months of operations.

The thing about quidco is that you shouldn't buy anything through it that you wouldn't buy anyway. EG if you were always going to buy an lcd tv and your cheapest quote retailer (let's say dixons for the sake of argument) also are available via quidco then why not give it a try. If it's say £10 dearer but the possible quidco cashback is £50 then I would personally also give it a try. But if I'm taking a substantially higher quote for the sake of going through quidco then it's not worth it.

And I would say 95% of all my transactions have paid out and I've made about £350 in the last 18 months. For stuff I would have bought anyway eg wine, books, and a new applemac computer....

It is really important to note that no one ever MAKES any money from cashback sites. you are still spending whether the prices are lower or not. In other words, if you dont need it dont buy it - it is always a false economy.

Quidco are not the best site around; try topcashback, and cashback kings.

Pigsback are unreliable and they dont have any decent offers.
:o Keep trying.........................what else is there to do? :o
