My apologies if this one's been done already, but it seemed like a good deal so I thought I'd share! Deserves a 'bump' anyway even if it has been done...
Tesco.com have some v.g. offers on champers and sparkling wine at the moment, up to 50% off: (and 25% off selected other wines)
http://www.tesco.com/winestore/controller.aspx?Nr=70002&sid=1002D3A3E675&N=60179&Ns=Name%7c0
You can of course combine this with free delivery (normally GBP5) for orders over GBP99 (enter code XX-WINE at the checkout)
OR
until 22/11/04, for the big shoppers, if you buy any wine at all, you get GBP10 off your next grocery shop over GBP100 before 20/12/04 - coupon added automatically at the checkout.
Plus you get clubcard points of course
Anyway, it may not be the cheapest deal around, but it seems pretty good if for whatever reason our Virgin vouchers don't turn up

Cheers, sounds like it could be worth looking into for our wedding next summer - though as the venue charges £9 per bottle for corkage (and even more for sparkling wines) it's hardly worth supplying our own!0

Cheapest I've found is £10.85 (for proper stuff)....

Cheapest on there is Andre Charpentier at GBP9.49 per bottle, we had a case of this last year just to see if it was as good as the 'proper stuff' and it was very nice, the good thing is it's half price so you can drink twice as much ;D

They're also doing this one, Rene Florency, for the same price:

Hmm - I was thinking about adding a sparkling wine section but I was unsure of the quaility?
Most of the champagne cases I found were bronze winners, but I'm not sure if that's a good quality champagne or just a good quality wine?0
