Great vacuum hunt for my Mums' asthma

After spending all night doing research

So the the one we want is a Hoover TC4226

Requirements:

• Bagless
• Cylinder
• 1800 min 2000 ideal watts

Ideally telescopic pipe and light as possible, and of course it need to be £150 or less.

Seems only Comet and Currys sell this model, so any discount schemes to get it below £94 (which is Comet's price if ordered online)

The only currys code I've found is %5 off

UPDATE: lxdirect are selling one, never ordered from them before whats the best way to use the codes ?
Can I use multiple codes ?

cleaners with hepa filters are also recommended for asthma sufferers, stops all the rubish being re circulated into the air like most vacume cleaners do

We tried the dyson dc07 and now dc14 and now we dont have asthma in the house, both hubby and daughters was mild but since using the dyson for 3 years now no attacks :j

I would also recomment Dyson as I am asthmatic and very rarely have a flare up since using various models for 6 years.

Thanks for all the replies.

Dyson was the obvious choice, but it's price point and build quality for me. Also the spare parts are extreamly high compared to other makes. I think they are great if you have the space and can afford them.

On a seperate note, it's a shame that we cannot buy these types of vacuum's without VAT. After all there are a number of items you can buy for the home that you don't need to pay VAT for if they are for health reasons. For example I just brought a SAD light (sesonal affective disorder) without VAT

Just a wee thing to consider about the dyson, you get a 2 year warrenty on them whereas most others you just get the year.
