Is the Nationwide offer (6.38%) the cheapest deal out there for a remortgage deal?

No, Accord have some semi exclusive products - 90% LTV remortgage, 5 year fix at 6.34% with a £495 fee.

It also depends on the size of the mortgage and if you cost the deal over the 5 year period rather than looking at the headline rate.

Your broker is unlikely to recommend the YBS deal as they don't accept business via brokers. There are several similar lenders such as Britania, First Direct etc.

Utilise your own research don't just trust a broker to find you the best deal. Some deals are exclusive to brokers, some deals are only available to customers direct.

The size of your mortgage justifies that little bit more time to find the best deal.

This deal requires an LTV of 80%, OP is looking for 90%.
