just wondering, anyone who has an rbs mortgage, how long do they usually ask between exchange and completion?

Mortgage Lenders don't generally stipulate a time from exchange to completion - it's all down to the conveyancer/solicitor making sure that all the legal side is in place.

Lenders will occasionally quote preferred timescales that a solicitor should give for them to release money which is often a weeks notice, but can often release the money on the same day as receiving the request for funds/certificate of title.
