Interest on a charging order

RBS are trying to get a charging order no CCJ only in the early stages however the letter from the RBS advising that they have passed my account to sols says that I owe jus of £20,000 interest is added monthly when this goes to court and a ccj and charging order is granted do these freeze interest or is it all added on before the CCJ is issued, if this is frozen surely they are doing themselves out of the interest if the were to let the account carry on until the end of the term.
