I don't know anything about silver but at the very least they will be worth scrap value (something per gram). I believe that all precious metals are more valuable than usual at the moment because of the economy.

maybe someone else will know more?

they are almost certainly silver plated hence worth very little

The price of silver has recently dropped by more than 25% to $12.50 per ounce. That's about £7 per troy ounce IF solid

If you have a Ebay account then the best thing to do is stick them on there with the best pictures you can make sure they are really good quality and as much information as you have. This way you will get the going rate for them you never know they could be worth a fortune. I have known people to stick things on thinking they wouldnt be worth much and edn up making a small fortune.

If you do do it make sure you weigh the whole lot and get the correct postage costs from teh Royal Mail website.
  • I went into cashconverters yesterday to try and sell some jewellery and for my silver jewellery at scrap value they only offer 10p per gram! Decided to keep it, not worth selling. Probably better off putting it on ebay
