Help with Names of companies on credit report.

Afterchecking my credit report yesterday with Equifax, Experian and Call Credit, i have some information on there that is incorrect and would like to challenge this. The problem is that it does not tell you the name of the company who you had the debt with. Is there a way of finding this out so that i can start cleaning up my report?

As I said in a previous post, I think you need to contact the credit reference agencies themselves and ask who the companies are. I've never seen this myself and don't think its right for the company not to be named.

I did not get my credit reports through the original agencies ie equifax etc but through check my file.com who provided me with my 3 credit reports. Does anybody know of an address or number to ring for Equifax to ask them who the companies involved were?
