Sandal hunt (merged threads)

Hi,
I thought I would ask if anyone knows where I can buy sandals or jelly shoes for my two year old for our holiday? The cheaper the better as she will only be wearing them for a week. It seems at this time of year it is impossible! Shop assistants look at me strange! :rotfl:

Thanks
:p Im not much good at saving money but Im a good cook

LOL we struggled to find some in last week of September. I assume you're going somewhere hot? It's taking a chance but what about looking whilst you're away.

Yep. If you are going to some hot and touristy destination you're probably better off buying local.
At least unlike the other way around, she may be too hot until you get some but won't freeze to death! (we once visited Europe at Xmas from OZ where we lived at the time and I had rellies at the airport waiting with hand me down coats for the kids....)

  • Do a search on ebay for 'jelly shoes' I have just done one and 99 entries are showing. There are some lovely ones on there and not many people bidding because summer has ended

You may have got sorted now Moose as I know you go on your hols this week:D

Just in case you haven't what about some canvas doodles from Clarks. They wont be on display but most stores wil lhave some in the stockroom.

Otherwise it may be worth waiting. I'm sure they'll be some shops on your hols where you'll be able to pick some up cheaply.
    see ya there
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...
