Hi guys I'm hoping some of u can help me. I have a little girl who loves her bright colours as in yellow & pinks. However, I have noticed that once they have been washed they r not as bight.
For example, I put in 2 bight sunny yellow t shirt's today- brand new this is first wash. Went to get them out to find they are now a dull yellow-so much so that u probably wouldn't tell that yesterday they were sunshine yellow. What is going on and how do I get my bright colours back? Any ideas? I use non bio liquid and sensitive fc, also have a tad of stardrops in to get the tough stains out. Please please am hoping someone will be able to help. TIA kal25

Hi, what temp are using and what other colours are you putting in the washer.
I sometimes find that washing things inside out helps.
Maybe instead of the star drops, try pre treating any marks with a gentle rub with a bar of soap.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
Hi Kal,
I found these links which recommend, amongst other things, using a washing powder specially for colours, washing colours with similar colours and adding vinegar to the wash:

hi Thank. That may be why as I bung most colours in together.
I was at 40.
Any ideas on how I can get the bright colours back? as these were a gift and don't want them to see these looking as they do as they look grubby now,
