Over Draft

Sorry - me again!

Ok i have an OD of £700 - today i have recieved a cheque for £200 from tax rebate which im going to put back into the OD to bring it down to £500 (OH doesnt know about OD or cheque so shhhh )

Now . . would i be better off paying my over draft with what i can each month (so say i have £50 spare i put this back into OD) or is there another option??

I clear my OD every month when OH gets paid so i dont incur charges - just standard fee (think its a few quid) but ive been trying to get the OD down for months and always seem to go high in it. (started off with a 250 OD that i didnt use then went up to pay off a council tax bill)

if you pay the £200 in make sure you reduce the amount by that .... how about sa savings account or a penny / pound jar where you can put some money in a month and when you get to £50 pay it in and reduce it again make sure you reduce it with the bank so your not tempted to spend!!!
