Please help. RE: CCJs and court fees

Please move to correct section.
Here goes...
I have been searching my credit file for the first time and it appears I have been given a CCJ a year ago for an unpaid Barclaycard which exceeded its limit and wasn't paid. I moved house months before the CCJ was issued so this is news to me.
1. What would happen now? I want to sort this debt out so how do I find out about the judgement/money agreed to pay back etc.
2. What about court costs? I'm not too worried about the CCJ because it's a civil judgement and not a criminal one. Fine it's made my credit rating bad but not paying court costs is a inprisonable offence right? What is the worst that can happen legally. Could a warrant for arrest be made. I presume the court would have demanded money after the CCJ was issued and this has gone to my old address which I think is the one the electoral register? Any one know how long that would take and if they are strict/what happens/ANYTHING?
:eek::mad:

Hi Braby
I suggest you have a read of this, then cal the nationaldebtline for advice.
http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk/england_wales/factsheet.php?page=12_how_to_set_aside_a_judgment_in_the_county_court
I should think you could request the judgement be set aside, then you may be able to pay the bank direct if that is still required.After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
Dad Gift 6k ¦ Savings & Inv Tst: £2,500
Loan 10k: £0 ¦ Dad 5.5k: £2,270 ¦ LTSB: £0 ¦ RBS: £0 ¦ Virgin £0 ¦ Egg £0
Total Owed: £2,270 (+6k) 11/08/20110 -
Worse that can happen is a visit from the bailiff as for court charges etc etc nothing to worry about there if you can pay it pay it other wise say you never recieved and go through that procedure0
