If you are a gambler, then this could be a good idea. I have tried PaddyPoker once (to get 500 points), found it totally confusing, which is probably intentional, and wouldn't go near PaddyPoker again if they paid me for it.
Didn't understand the rest of your posting0 -

I only got 4 clickthroughs.
I really did think the love2shop vouchers would be back today, but guess not. Really tempted to just cash my points in as CDWOW vouchers.
Can you still get 100 points if you click through the pigsback links? (making it effectively a £9.75 voucher discount)0 -

A point to debate.
Many people on here, including myself, visit this site to grab the cash which these people so generously post for us to collect.
I would assume a very high percentage spend no time looking at the sites you click through.
As a result the advertisers will start to see they are getting no return for their investment in terms of new customers or sales and thus they will seek new routes to advertise. The outcome being they will move away from sites such as Pigsback and as the amounts of cash available drop the number of visitors will drop and then b ye bye to all the little piggies
So are we right to pursue the 10p's knowing we will possibly cause the demise of this site0 -

you can buy 2 x cdwow vouchers but you can only use 1 per order and you get the 100 points PER cd so if you do 2 orders you will get 200 points if each order has 2 cds on it you will get 400 pointsThanks to all who post0 -

A moment's logic will destroy this argument, I think.
PB have not devised the site to be ignored. The whole point of it is to draw attention to their clients, the advertisers. Advertisers want the public to see their product. By clicking on the links that PB provide, we are rewarded for looking at the advertiser's product image.
If we stop clicking on the links, there is no more certain way of killing the site!! If no-one clicks, the advertisers will soon say, "Well, no-one is looking at our product, so we're not renewing our contract with you."
Since PB are, I presume, paid per click, and perhaps in some other way as well, they should be happy that more and more people, whether MSE-ers or not, are discovering their site and eagerly awaiting every Monday to add to their account.
Over to PB, then, to devise means of encouraging us to spend longer on each advertiser's webpage ... But ssshhh, don't tell 'em!
So, if we don't click, the site dies. If the site dies because we click too much, then the PB business model was fatally flawed, and we should certainly not wear horse-hair shirts to chastise ourselves!Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930
